Each month we highlight one of the awesome members of our wild and crazy familia. This month is all about Fernando!
How long have you been with CBB and what do you do?
I’m one the brewers and I’ve been here for 1 year and 9 months now.
What’s your favorite Concrete Beach beer?
Stiltsville is my favorite beer. It’s perfect and its simplicity is really hard to achieve. I appreciate that overall.
What’s your favorite non-CBB beer?
Weihenstephaner FESTBIER because it’s also perfect. That’s all.
If you were a beer, what style would you be?
I don’t think I can find my personality in a style. Maybe I could be one of those beers that when you drink it you think, “What that h##l is in this beer?”
How would you describe working here in 3 words?
Hard, intense and relaxed at the end of the day.
If you were a genre of music, what would you be?
Jazz… calm, but sometimes crazy.
What’s your spirit animal?
I don’t like the culture behind “spirit animals,” nevertheless when I’m racing in a mountain bike competition, I always think of myself as a leopard chasing its prey.
What’s an interesting fact about you that not many people know?
I like classical music… though there’s nothing interesting about that.
What’s your favorite local lunch spot in Wynwood?
The hot dog stand on 24th St and 5th Ave. The Argentinian guy who runs it is a very interesting person.
Favorite artist to listen to?
If you had to describe your life with fictional characters who would it be?
Juan Valdez… ‘cus I drink A LOT of coffee, hahaha.
What’s your guilty pleasure (PG, of course)?
Sleeping in until noon and hugging my wife.
Name three things you want to accomplish off your bucket list.
To become a Dad (in the process) and because that is a huge one, I’m not going to mention anything else.
