Meet the Familia // Gian

Each month we highlight one of the awesome members of our wild and crazy familia. This month is all about Gian!

How long have you been with CBB and what do you do?

I’ve been here since late October 2017. I started as a brand ambassador / events specialist, and now I am a key holder at the Social Hall.

What’s your current favorite beer at the brewery?

My favorite beer from CBB is Size of the Coconut. I love it because it’s a Belgian Quadrupel, with chocolate and coconut which gives the beer a unique taste.

If you were a beer, what style would you be?

A Porter. Heavy, but with an acquired taste.

How would you describe working here in 3 words?

Share. Engage. Influence.

If you were a genre of music, what would you be?

You could compare me to jazz… chill and smooth.

What’s your spirit animal?

My spiritual animal is a Penguin.

What’s an interesting fact about you that not many people know?

It’s not so interesting, but when I get nervous or anxious I tend to pulled my beard hairs. (If you ever see me make me stop.)

What’s your favorite local lunch spot in Wynwood?

One of my top places to eat in Wynwood is Gramps. THEY HAVE HAPPY HOUR AND PIZZA AND THE PIZZA IS GOOD! And who doesn’t love pizza? (M – F from 12-4pm. 2 slices with a soda for $6!)

Favorite artist to listen to?

You can always catch me listening to Mac Miller. RIP.

If you had to describe your life with fictional characters who would it be?

I would be a single Homer Simpson, with no family.

What’s your guilty pleasure (PG, of course)?

An arepa frita with Reina pepiada. UFFFF THE FIRE.

Something that makes you go WHY?

I always ask WHY people have a driving license older than 65. I mean c’monnn.

Favorite movie?

One of my top three movies is Superbad.

Name three things you want to accomplish off your bucket list.

Hike a mountain and camp out at the top of it. Go backpacking in Thailand for two weeks with some friends. Be able to open my own small business one day while still working a full time job.
