Ariete’s Executive Chef Michael Beltran and our own Brewmaster Joseph Reynolds are coming together to host a monthly series of one-of-a-kind, dining experiences at Concrete Beach Brewery.

Michael has created an incredible 5-course menu that pairs perfectly with our artistically crafted brews. Michael and Joe will walk you through each course, highlighting the flavor, why they work well together and the brewing process.  The dinner will take place where the action happens – among the tanks, right in the heart of our brewery.

We welcome you to join us at 6:30 for a pre-dinner pint (cost included in the ticket). The dinner will begin at 7:00pm.

About Ariete Executive Chef and Partner, Michael Beltran

Miami born and bred Michael Beltran grew up in Little Havana and attended Averett University in Virginia where he earned a degree in Sociology and worked part-time as dishwasher; a job that would unknowingly act as the catalyst to his career as a chef and restaurant owner.

It was during his job as a dishwasher that Beltran saw the heat in the kitchen first-hand, and just couldn’t keep away from the fire. Upon returning home, Beltran learned the ins and out of working a dining room and kitchen at Miami institution Casa Juancho in his very own Little Havana.

Soon after, Beltran moved on to work under Miami culinary legend and founding father of New World cuisine, Norman Van Aken. It was then that Beltran was able to learn the foundation for fine dining — from curing charcuterie to use of acids to the stratification of sauces– all while master proper technique and flawless execution. That perseverance and attention to detail earned him the title of sous chef at Tuyo’s and subsequently at Michael Schwartz’s Cypress Room where Beltran was part of the opening team alongside Thomas Keller protégé and chef de cuisine Roel Alcudia.

In 2015, Beltran left Cypress Room to chase his dream of opening a New World American restaurant after reconnecting with friend, nightlife veteran, and Sidebar owner Jason Odio. At Ariete, Beltran is using his innumerable experience in fine dining and working with seasonal and native ingredients as well as global flavors to bring something totally different to the table and usher the next wave of Miami dining, one dish at a time.
